We have chosen to use Restylane®, a range of hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers which are renowned for being evidence-based, safe and long lasting, without the use of collagen, silicone or animal products in their production. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in every cell of our body, including skin cells, where it is responsible for maintaining skin hydration and the effectiveness of ourcollagen and elastin.
As we age, especially during our 40’s and 50’s, we lose hyaluronic acid as levels of oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone begin to fall.
Dermal filler can slow down the process of facial ageing and enhance natural beauty whilst maintaining the individual’s essence. Maintaining a natural look is entirely dependent on the injector, making Dr M’s expertise sought after.

HOW MUCH DOES DERMAL FILLER COST?
Dermal filler is not a one size fits all treatment and therefore we do not offer prices per syringe or package deals that you may have seen at other clinics. All prices are subject to individual assessment with your treatment plan and cost communicated during your consultation appointment. As a guide, dermal filler at L’ART starts from £450.
HOW LONG DOES DERMAL FILLER LAST?
How long dermal filler lasts is dependent on which area you have had treated and how fast your body breaks down the products. This varies person to person and will be discussed in depth during your consultation appointment with Dr M.
WHO IS NOT SUITABLE FOR DERMAL FILLER?
Dermal filler should not be carried out on anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, has allergies to hyaluronic acid or suffers from clotting disorders.
ARE DERMAL FILLERS PAINFUL?
Some areas we treat are more sensitive than others, for example the lips, however we have ways to make you as comfortable as possible such as topical numbing creams, the use of cannulas, and using a dermal filler that contains a numbing agent.
