WHAT IS SCULPTRA®?
Sculptra® contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biodegradable substance that has been used safely in medicine for many years. When injected, Sculptra® works to stimulate the body’s natural collagen production deep within the skin. Over time, this enhances facial volume and smooths fine lines to create a more youthful appearance.

IS SCULPTRA® PAINFUL?
Sculptra is administered using a series of injections which may cause mild discomfort. Dr Minocha will apply a topical numbing cream before the treatment is carried out to minimise any discomfort. Any swelling or redness will subside within a few days post treatment.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS AFTER SCULPTRA®?
Sculptra® results develop gradually as your body starts to produce new collagen. While some improvement may be noticeable within a few weeks, optimal results are usually seen after a few months.
HOW MUCH IS SCULPTRA® AT L’ART?
Sculptra® at L’ART is x per treatment. A course of 2-3 initial treatment are recommended however your personalised treatment plan will be communicated with you during your consultation with Dr Minocha.
CAN I HAVE MY CONSULTATION AND TREATMENT ON THE SAME DAY?
Yes, you may proceed with your treatment on the same day as your consultation, provided both you and Dr Minocha are satisfied with the proposed treatment plan.
WHO IS NOT SUITABLE FOR SCULPTRA®?
We cannot treat anyone who is:

Pregnant or breastfeeding

Allergic to any of the ingredients in Sculptra®
- Prone to keyloid formation or hypertrophic scarring
- Currently experiencing any active skin infection or condition at the
treatment area.
